Job Title: SQL Developer (2–3 Years Experience)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated SQL Developer with 2–3 years of experience in database development and management. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and should be proficient in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance. The candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain database objects such as stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Write efficient DDL and DML scripts for database creation, modification, and data manipulation.
• Create, maintain, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform database backup, restore, and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues using tools such as SQL Profiler and Event Viewer.
• Perform query tuning and performance optimization to improve database efficiency.
• Participate in database design, schema changes, and data modeling activities.
• Implement and maintain version control using Git for database scripts and code changes.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate database deployments and changes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver database solutions.

Required Skills:
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SQL development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in writing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Strong knowledge of DDL, DML, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience in database backup, recovery, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience using SQL Profiler and Event Viewer for troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to cloud-based databases or data platforms is a plus.
